    Welcome to 2015. It’s a new year and that brings great opportunity for change. Most everyone will make some sort of well-intentioned resolutions when the New Year begins. How many of you have taken the time to write some down? If you haven’t, then take a few moments RIGHT NOW and jot down at least 3 things you would like to do to make yourself better this year. There is a good chance that some of these are on that list. Lose weight, eat healthier, get fit, manage stress, quit smoking, and drink less alcohol. These are some of the top ten most common resolutions made and the fitness gym you choose can have a great impact on assisting you in being successful in those goals. Take a moment and think about how valuable it would be to accomplish your resolutions this year. Yes, it’s possible and we want to be that gym you select.

    Justin and I started Balance Point Fitness and Athletics to provide Redding with an alternative to the fitness gyms that are currently in the area. On one end of the spectrum most gyms are globo-gyms where you pay a small fee to essentially rent the ability to use their equipment with little to no professional instruction and/or accountability. At the other end are the extreme intensity gyms that are constantly pushing people beyond their physical limits and increasing exponentially the risk for injury. Balance Point Fitness and Athletics is the happy medium and the answer to your lifelong fitness and health.  Collectively, Justin and I have over 20 years experience as certified trainers working with hundreds, if not thousands of clients of all skill levels, male and female, young and old, athletes, as well as sedentary folks. As professional trainers, SAFETY for our clientele is of utmost priority and through our extensive hands-on experience we have developed the ability to adjust training methods and movements to accommodate any and all skill levels and more importantly those with previous injuries and/or limitations a client may have.

    Balance Point Fitness and Athletics was created to be the gym that EVERYONE turns to for their fitness and nutrition guidance. We are dedicated to assisting you in finding your BALANCE POINT and actually turning those resolutions made at the beginning of the year into a REALITY by the end of the year.
